Air and Space Museum

I hope everyone had a fantastic time celebrating the new year! To start 2016, I went to the Air and Space museum in Virginia. The museum is an awesome way to spend the day (kids will love it!) , and is free (except parking is $15 and rides are $7-8). There are a variety of fascinating exhibits, the Cold War Aviation and Human Spaceflight were my favorites, which highlighted the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird and the Space Shuttle Discovery. American Visionary Art Museum

The American Visionary Art Museum (AVAM), is a funky museum off the Inner Harbor that features self-taught artists. It is a fantastic museum both inside and out. Take a look at my facebook post for some photos of the museum's impressive exterior!
